Our Inspiration

As an infant swim instructor Jayleen noticed a lack of choice in maternity swimwear. With many pregnant mothers avoiding lessons, trying to make do or adapt their regular swimwear. Becoming pregnant with her first child was a light bulb moment; she was unable to find comfortable stylish maternity swimwear without compromising her personal style. While other countries were offering some exciting designs embracing the pregnant shape, the Australian choices were often limited & uninspiring.

 Jayleen looked for international inspiration and conceived the concept of an online boutique offering a range of fabulous International brand’s.  Beach Maternity is excited to be the only online boutique specialising in Maternity and Breastfeeding swimwear. As a mother of 2 beautiful boys, Jayleen understands a pregnant woman’s body was meant to have curves, Beach Maternity offers a variety of styles and sizes to ensure a perfect fit for everybody.
